When we talk about garter belts we refer to an accessory with a high erotic charge, which has always been associated with femininity and the desire to amaze in intimate moments. Its history has its roots back in time by a few centuries. Initially there was a small garter made of fabric that fastened at the calf in order to keep the stockings up. During the nineteenth century there was an important evolution of customs, both public and above all private. In late nineteenth-century London the garter belt made its appearance on the theatrical scenes, worn by dancers. The model we are used to today begins to be in vogue with the start of the twentieth century. The straps are attached to the corset, so that you don't put too much effort around the waist. Many fashion brands specialized in the sector launch new models of hold-ups from one season to the next, characterized by different levels of coverage. Colors and patterns allow you to choose the most suitable accessory for every occasion, always in combination with a certain outfit that can be completed. There are very simple models, black and with a silicone band, but also more sensual high-rise stockings decorated in lace or satin.
